Raising startup funding outside of Silicon Valley is a long-term, time-consuming and often unsuccessful grind. Longtime investor Derek Footer of ExtraVallis will speak about the fundraising Valley of Death that growth stage pre-revenue startups face. He will give tips on how to connect with investors, what to avoid to avoid an investor “no” and how to best present your company. After speaking he will answer any questions.
